Who I Am, and Why I’m Here

Hello!
My name is Brenda Nicholson. I grew up in the FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).

In March of 2012, myself, my husband and our six children escaped that organization and started a new life in the "Outside World" - a new and frightening experience at first, but one that has brought us great happiness and freedom.

Now, four years later, I am working hard to raise awareness of the harms being done within that closed society and hoping to help my extended family and friends come to know the truth about what they are involved in, so that they can also enjoy the amazing life of freedom that I enjoy.
